You told us the shape of the pilot. All three enroll into your Google Workspace the same way; the difference is how much headroom you want.

Recommended: Acer 311

ChromeOS runs light, so 4GB comfortably handles shared web and AI research. The Acer pairs a current Intel processor with 64GB of storage, the best balance of price and performance for the pilot.

Step up: 8GB premium

The Lenovo 100e adds 8GB of memory, a rugged MIL-STD-810H build, Wi-Fi 6E, and ChromeOS updates through 2036. Choose it for the most headroom across many tabs and the longest life.

Tightest budget: value 4GB

The Lenovo IdeaPad 3 is the lowest cost per device. It covers the same shared web use on a prior-generation chip with 32GB of storage.

Staying connected

Add a mobile hotspot if you need one

Rather than resell you a data plan, we would rather set you up to buy the right one straight from Verizon, at their price, with no markup and no middle layer between you and the carrier if a device ever has trouble in the field. Verizon Business sells standalone mobile hotspots with monthly data plans, commonly from around 60 GB up to 100 GB a month, with unlimited options for heavier use. Runway is a nonprofit, so ask Verizon Business about nonprofit pricing when you set it up.
